Fresh Food Manager

About the role

Morrisons is looking for a Fresh Food Manager to lead the fresh food department in our Anlaby store. You will be responsible for ensuring high product availability, delivering exceptional customer service and driving the performance of your team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and empower colleagues to put the customer first and deliver outstanding service.
• Maintain market‑leading product availability across the store.
• Collaborate with other department managers to create a supportive, performance‑driven environment.
• Manage people routines, including scheduling, absence, performance reviews and talent conversations.
• Deliver training to build capability and confidence within the team.
• Identify and develop talent, building effective relationships with other operating departments.
• Plan resources thoroughly and ensure targets are met.

Required profile

• Passion for fresh food and a keen eye for detail.
• Customer‑focused mindset with the ability to listen to and act on feedback.
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills.
• Performance‑driven attitude and ability to work collaboratively.
