Front End Web Developer – Hybrid (12‑month contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Front End Web Developer to join an innovative technology business in High Wycombe. Working within a collaborative software development team, you will help create and enhance browser‑based applications that deliver intuitive, responsive user experiences and support real‑time communication with specialised hardware and software.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modern, responsive web applications using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
• Implement real‑time browser functionality with Server‑Sent Events (SSE) and integrate front‑end components with RESTful APIs.
• Work closely with developers, engineers and product teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Ensure applications are accessible, performant and compatible across modern browsers.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimise existing code, and participate in code reviews.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience in front‑end development.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication abilities and a collaborative mindset.
