About the role
We are seeking a Front of House Receptionist to be the first point of contact for a busy law firm in Highgate, London. You will ensure the reception area runs smoothly and provide professional support to solicitors and clients.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the reception area and meeting rooms, greeting clients and offering refreshments.
- Handle mainline calls, enquiries and postal duties.
- Provide administrative support using the firm’s legal case management system to generate invoices and record payments.
- Create user accounts, request deeds via the Land Registry portal and prepare/post property deeds.
- Archive closed client files using Microsoft Excel and maintain office supplies.
- Raise maintenance queries and liaise with IT support to resolve technical issues.
Required profile
- Previous experience in an administrative or customer‑service role.
- GCSEs at A*‑C level; A‑Levels required; a 2:1 degree is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent oral and written communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential documents, multitask and prioritize workload in a busy team environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
What we offer
- Competitive salary of £26,000‑£29,000 per year.
