Front of House Waiter/Waitress at Modern Spanish Restaurant

About the role

We are seeking a warm and welcoming Waiter/Waitress to join the front‑of‑house team at Barrafina, a highly awarded modern Spanish restaurant in Covent Garden. You will be part of an energetic service team that works around a marble‑topped bar, delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast‑paced, high‑quality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve guests efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.
• Communicate clearly with guests and team members at all times.
• Manage and exceed guest expectations, ensuring food and drink are delivered flawlessly.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menus, ingredients, allergens, and daily specials.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues to create a seamless and enjoyable service flow.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a waiter or waitress in a fast‑paced, high‑quality restaurant.
• Kind, friendly, and positive attitude with a strong team ethic.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Interest and love for Spanish food and culture.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of menus, ingredients, and allergens.
• Effective communication skills.
