Front of House Waiter/Waitress – Pan‑Asian Restaurant

About the role

Join the Pot & Rice team as a front‑of‑house waiter or waitress, working across our vibrant Soho and Elephant & Castle locations. You will help deliver a smooth, high‑quality dining experience in a fast‑paced, modern Pan‑Asian restaurant.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily restaurant operations from opening to closing, including set‑up and clean‑down.
• Take and relay orders accurately to the kitchen and bar.
• Serve food and beverages in line with company standards.
• Handle written and electronic orders, cash, PDQ payments and EPOS till systems.
• Maintain clean and tidy service areas, polishing cutlery, crockery and glassware.
• Follow health, safety, hygiene, manual handling and alcohol service policies.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of experience in hospitality (restaurant, bar or café).
• Flexible and able to work at both Soho and Elephant & Castle sites.
• Friendly, professional and confident in customer interactions.
• Calm, patient and team‑oriented with the ability to multitask.
• Fluent English; additional languages such as Chinese, Korean or Japanese are a plus.
• Availability for evenings and weekends.

What we offer

• Up to £14.00 per hour including service charge, based on experience.
• Flexible hours up to 45 hours per week on a fixed‑term contract until June 2027.
