Frontend Developer – React & Next.js (Hybrid, Leeds)

About the role

We are partnering with an independent web development agency to hire a Frontend Developer who will contribute to senior‑level builds. The role is hybrid, requiring one day per week on‑site at Leeds City Centre.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to develop UX and web projects.
• Work closely with a dedicated backend specialist and a web designer.
• Debug, identify, and resolve frontend issues using browser developer tools.
• Participate in the implementation of new processes and technologies.

Required profile

• Passion for digital performance and a strong interest in frontend development.
• Ability to commute to Leeds City Centre at least one day per week.
• Confidence to communicate with clients and lead meetings.
• Agency experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Proven experience in a web development role with a frontend focus.
• Expert knowledge of React and Next.js.
• Familiarity with WordPress, Semantic HTML, and GSAP animation libraries.
