Frontend Developer – React & TypeScript (1+ yrs)

About the role

We are looking for a Frontend Developer with at least one year of experience to join a leading financial services organisation in London. Employed by nology and placed with the client, you will work on business‑critical applications while expanding your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
• Build scalable and reusable UI components.
• Collaborate with product, design and backend teams to deliver high‑quality features.
• Integrate frontend code with REST APIs and backend services.
• Apply best practices in coding, testing and performance optimisation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, contributing to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 1+ years of hands‑on frontend development (commercial experience preferred).
• Strong experience with React and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML and CSS.
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with state‑management tools such as Redux.
• Experience working in agile development environments.
• Attention to detail in data‑sensitive or regulated settings.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role based in London.
