Full Stack Developer

About the role

This high‑impact position lets you own meaningful parts of a growing SaaS platform, from UI tweaks to backend performance and data‑pipeline reliability. You will work closely with a fractional senior technical lead and senior management while driving work forward independently.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of features and systems from concept through production.
• Improve and maintain the core platform, including React frontend, Ruby on Rails API, and Node.js event ingestion pipeline.
• Build new product features across frontend and backend, leveraging Vercel, OpenAI integrations, and automation tooling.
• Identify and proactively fix performance, reliability, and UX issues.
• Collaborate with the senior lead on architecture and technical direction.
• Contribute to simplifying and strengthening the platform over time.

Required profile

• Solid experience as a full‑stack engineer (mid‑level or above).
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills, preferably with React.
• Backend experience with Ruby, Ruby on Rails, or Node.js.
• Comfortable working with APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Ownership mentality, self‑direction, pragmatism, and curiosity.
• Enjoys working in a small, evolving team.
