Full Stack Java Developer

About the role

We are partnering with a growing financial services firm in Weston‑super‑Mare to expand their technology team. As a Full Stack Java / J2EE Developer you will be involved in the complete software lifecycle, delivering cloud‑based solutions that support the business and its customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy Java & J2EE applications across the full stack.
• Collaborate with peers on production issues, code reviews and architectural decisions.
• Produce clear documentation and help define team coding standards.
• Build integrations with multiple systems using RESTful Web Services.
• Maintain build and deployment pipelines following best practices.

Required profile

• A degree in Computer Science, Technical Science or equivalent experience.
• Hands‑on experience in J2EE projects covering both front‑end and back‑end development.
• Familiarity with testing practices such as JUnit, integration, system and regression testing.
• Interest in continuous learning and staying ahead of emerging technologies.
