Full Stack .Net Software Engineer (R&D, Complex Engineering)

About the role

Join a fast‑growing engineering and technology organisation in Oxford, working within the R&D function to develop proprietary software that underpins high‑performance component design. You will be based on‑site three to five days a week, collaborating with process engineers, technicians and material scientists.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain innovative tools for data management, traceability, visualisation, predictive modelling, material and component design, and production quality assurance.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, delivering end‑to‑end full‑stack solutions.
• Work closely with cross‑functional engineering teams to translate scientific requirements into robust software.
• Own projects with autonomy, ensuring high code quality and adherence to best practices.

Required profile

• 2:1 or higher degree in Computing, STEM or related discipline (preferably Russell Group university).
• 2‑8 years of commercial experience in C# .Net development.
• Full‑stack experience using Blazor or JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
• Strong OOP skills, familiarity with software design patterns and test‑driven development.
• Experience with cloud services (e.g., Azure) is desirable.
