Full Stack Software Engineer – Defence Projects

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Full Stack Software Engineer to join our delivery team working on defence‑related projects, with the possibility to expand into other sectors. The role is based in Salford Quays, Manchester and requires at least three days on site each week.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new application functionality and features following clean‑code principles.
• Write well‑documented, testable code and maintain unit, integration and end‑to‑end tests.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks and best practices.
• Help improve development processes and tooling.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven experience delivering software using Agile methodologies.

Required skills

• JavaScript (ES6+)
• TypeScript
• Full‑stack development experience
