Full‑Time Teaching Assistant – Croydon

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join schools across Croydon on a full‑time, long‑term basis. You will work closely with teachers to support lesson delivery and help pupils develop confidence, independence and academic progress.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery.
• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group learning support.
• Support pupils with their individual learning and development needs.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage classroom engagement.
• Collaborate with teachers and wider school staff to maintain a safe, inclusive environment.

Required profile

• Experience working with children or young people (desirable).
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Positive, patient and adaptable attitude.
• Passion for supporting pupils and their education.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Compliance with UK school safeguarding regulations.
