GCSE French Examiner (2024 Spec) – Fully Remote

About the role

Pearson is seeking qualified teachers to act as GCSE French examiners for the 2024 specification. The role is fully remote, allowing you to mark scripts from home using the ePEN digital platform. Marking takes place between May and July, with mandatory training in May‑June.

Key responsibilities

• Mark candidates' responses accurately and consistently according to the predefined mark scheme.
• Submit sample scripts to your Team Leader at designated times.
• Adhere to marking milestones and deadlines.
• Complete all required administrative tasks as specified.

Required profile

• At least one academic year of teaching experience within the last eight years, in the relevant subject and since qualifying as a teacher.
• Possession of a degree or equivalent qualification.
• Qualified teacher status.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• High level of subject knowledge to apply the mark scheme correctly.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the ePEN digital marking platform.
