General Assistant – Cinema Guest Services

About the role

As a General Assistant you will be the front‑line face of our cinema, delivering an unrivalled guest experience through friendly service and efficient operations. No prior experience is required – a positive attitude and passion for cinema are key.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to cinema visitors, greeting and guiding guests throughout their visit.
• Manage queues, sell tickets and refreshments at the counters, and handle cash or card transactions.
• Maintain clean and tidy cinema spaces, including auditoria, foyers and facilities.
• Answer guest queries about current film releases and cinema amenities.
• Promote product sales and upsell concessions to enhance the guest experience.

Required profile

• Passionate about cinema and delivering first‑class service.
• Positive, can‑do attitude with the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and unsociable hours.
• Willingness to work across all cinema departments.
