General Manager – Flagship Hospitality Venue, Central London

About the role

We are launching a new flagship venue in Central London that combines specialty coffee, premium beverages, full restaurant service, brunch, afternoon small plates, a premium tea programme and event space. As General Manager you will lead the front‑of‑house team from day one, shaping the guest experience and building a vibrant, all‑day destination.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day front‑of‑house operations for a venue serving coffee, food and events.
• Manage and develop a team of around 10 staff members.
• Drive service standards, guest satisfaction and weekday/weekend sales growth.
• Train, coach and mentor a young team, fostering a strong culture.
• Build local business relationships and partnerships.
• Support events, private bookings and corporate opportunities.
• Help establish the venue as a go‑to destination in the area.

Required profile

• Current General Manager or strong Assistant General Manager ready to step up.
• Restaurant background with full table‑service experience.
• Passionate about hospitality and high service standards.
• Hands‑on, visible on the floor and commercially aware.
• Excellent people skills, warm, energetic and proactive.
• Comfortable managing younger teams and developing talent.
• Coffee experience is a bonus but not essential; training can be provided.
