Group Operations Director

About the role

We are seeking a Group Operations Director to lead a national multi‑brand restaurant portfolio during a period of transition, repositioning and growth. Based in our London head office, you will oversee multiple Heads of Operations and senior teams, ensuring stronger alignment, structure and operational consistency across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee operational performance across the national multi‑brand restaurant group.
• Lead and support multiple Heads of Operations and senior teams.
• Create stronger systems, structure and accountability throughout the business.
• Drive operational efficiencies and commercial improvement.
• Work closely with ownership and senior leadership during periods of change.
• Support future acquisitions and long‑term growth plans.
• Build a more connected and scalable group‑wide operational platform.

Required profile

• Senior hospitality leadership experience within restaurant groups.
• Strong commercial and operational background.
• Proven ability to lead large teams and complex structures.
• Comfortable operating in evolving or repositioning businesses.
• Collaborative, low‑ego and people‑focused approach.
• Ability to introduce structure without damaging culture.
• Strategic mindset with operational credibility.
• Experience overseeing support functions such as People, Marketing, Finance or Property.
