General Manager – High‑Profile London Venue

About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a flagship hospitality venue in London. The role involves full ownership of day‑to‑day operations, driving commercial performance and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house activities, ensuring seamless service during peak periods.
• Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness and regulatory compliance.
• Manage opening/closing procedures, cash reconciliation and financial administration.
• Monitor sales, labour costs and operational expenses to maximise profitability.
• Analyse business metrics and implement initiatives to boost revenue and service quality.
• Control stock, conduct regular inventories and minimise waste.
• Develop strong supplier relationships and manage ordering processes.
• Recruit, train and develop a high‑performing team, delivering regular coaching and performance reviews.
• Ensure full compliance with licensing, food safety (HACCP) and health‑and‑safety regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a General Manager or senior hospitality leader.
• Demonstrated ability to drive commercial results and manage large teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on cost control and revenue optimisation.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
