About the role
We are seeking a General Manager to lead the ibis London Barking hotel. The successful candidate will be passionate about guest experience, commercially focused and forward‑thinking, with a proven track record in hotel management.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the entire hotel operation and maintain product and service standards.
- Develop and execute commercial strategies to maximise profit.
- Lead and manage the team to ensure safe, efficient, and effective daily operations.
- Drive performance improvements and implement strategies aligned with business objectives.
Required profile
- Minimum three years’ experience as a General Manager in upscale hotels.
- Expertise in hotel operations and strong commercial leadership.
- Demonstrated success in financial performance, guest satisfaction and team engagement.
- Excellent communication skills at all business levels.
- Experience managing owner relationships and working within franchised environments.
- Knowledge of the London market is highly beneficial.
