General Manager

About the role

The General Manager leads a Five Guys restaurant, ensuring day‑to‑day operations run smoothly while delivering profitability and an excellent customer experience. You will be the brand ambassador on the floor, coaching staff and driving sales.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and coach the team to achieve sales targets and high service standards.
• Manage the store’s P&L, controlling costs and maximizing revenue.
• Work on the line and in the dining area, modelling the brand’s values.
• Oversee HR matters, recognising and rewarding performance.
• Plan long‑term staffing and develop a talent pipeline.

• Ability to balance operational efficiency with customer service excellence.
