General Manager – Pub & Boutique Hotel

About the role

Young's is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the Wheatsheaf Inn, a flagship pub and boutique hotel in the heart of the Cotswolds. You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience across the pub, restaurant, private dining, garden space and 14 luxury bedrooms.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the pub, restaurant and hotel, ensuring high standards of food, service and accommodation.
• Develop and curate the food and beverage menu, sourcing local seasonal produce.
• Plan and execute events, supper clubs and private functions.
• Manage recruitment, training, scheduling and performance of the entire team.
• Control budgeting, financial performance and drive revenue growth.
• Maintain the garden room and outdoor areas, enhancing the guest environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing premium hospitality venues with a fresh‑food focus.
• Track record of running multi‑faceted businesses and delivering guest‑centric results.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to shape the venue’s identity.
• Strong leadership, people‑focused approach and passion for exceptional customer service.
