General Operative – Assembly (Temporary, Immediate Start)

About the role

Lotus UK Manufacturing is seeking a General Operative for its Assembly Department at the Hethel plant. This temporary position starts immediately and runs for up to six months, offering flexible working patterns within a world‑class sports car manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Meet daily quality and production targets set by the area supervisor.
• Assemble finished engines and modules to required quality standards.
• Follow documented processes at all times.
• Work in a structured manner and complete tasks within allocated time.
• Adhere to flexible working patterns as required.

Required profile

• Willingness to learn new production techniques and processes.
• Team‑oriented attitude.
• Ability to handle all parts and equipment with care and attention.
• Capability to work with minimal supervision.
• Eligibility to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Proficiency with power tools.
• Experience assembling component parts to quality standards.
