General Porter – Part‑time (15 hrs/week)

About the role
The General Porter role supports the smooth operation of hospital services on a part‑time basis, including evenings and weekends. You will help maintain a safe, efficient environment for patients, staff and visitors while representing the department professionally.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out portering duties such as moving equipment, supplies and patients.
- Provide support for security, emergency response and car‑parking management.
- Assist in delivering quality services and uphold a professional image for the department.
Required profile
- Current PVG Scheme membership or ability to obtain a satisfactory record from Disclosure Scotland.
- Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Availability to work part‑time, including evenings and weekends.
