Generator Installation Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Generator Installation Engineer to join a leading specialist team in the South East. You will work on the installation, commissioning and testing of bespoke critical‑power equipment, with full on‑the‑job training and the chance to increase earnings through premium overtime.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and test generator and critical‑power systems for client sites.
• Perform day‑to‑day troubleshooting and ensure equipment meets performance standards.
• Travel within a local patch (Portsmouth, Southampton, Havant, Waterlooville, Winchester) and report progress.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment status.

Required profile

• Qualified Electrical Installation Engineer with experience in generator systems.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and follow health & safety procedures.
