Geoenvironmental Consultant – Ground Investigation Specialist

About the role

This role offers a Geoenvironmental Consultant position within a leading ground investigation team, delivering specialist services across the South East. You will support site assessments, supervise investigations and develop technical reports while mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site walkovers and desktop studies for new projects.
• Supervise ground investigations, including soil and rock logging.
• Prepare factual and interpretive reports and phase plans.
• Oversee junior team members and contribute to their professional development.

Required profile

• Degree in geology, geoscience, geotechnical or environmental engineering, environmental science or related field (MSc preferred).
• Experience in the ground investigation industry as a geotechnical or geo‑environmental engineer.
• Willingness to develop geo‑environmental and geotechnical interpretation skills.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to commute to Slough and surrounding areas.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
