About the role
Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Geography Teacher for a mixed secondary school in Manor Park, East London. The role covers Key Stages 3 and 4 and is initially offered on a four‑week temporary contract, with the possibility of extension or a permanent position.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons for KS3 and KS4.
- Assess, monitor and support student progress and attainment.
- Differentiate instruction to meet a range of abilities.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment and uphold school behaviour standards.
- Contribute to the wider aims and ethos of the school.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge in Geography.
- Experience teaching Geography in a UK secondary school.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to helping all students reach their full potential.
