Geotechnical Engineer – Fast Track to Senior

About the role

This field‑based Geotechnical Engineer position covers sites across England up to Manchester. You will work 45 hours a week (Monday‑Friday) with overtime and occasional weekend availability, enjoying a fast progression route to Senior/Project Engineer level.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise drilling rigs on geotechnical and site‑investigation projects.
• Deliver investigations across rail, energy and highways sectors.
• Perform borehole drilling, groundwater installations, CBR testing, soakaway works, concrete coring and structural investigations.
• Travel to sites up to Manchester and attend the office in Milton Keynes when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in geotechnical/site‑investigation work.
• Ability to supervise drilling rigs.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Motivation to progress quickly to a senior role.
