Glass Collector – Pub Service

About the role

Join The Liquorist in Portsmouth as a Glass Collector, part of Stonegate Group’s vibrant pub portfolio. In this entry‑level position you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and the team.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and clear used glassware from tables, bar areas and outdoor seating promptly.
• Assist in resetting tables and ensuring the floor is tidy throughout service.
• Support the bar and floor staff by delivering clean glasses and helping with basic stock replenishment.
• Follow health and safety procedures, including proper disposal of broken glass.
• Engage courteously with guests, answering simple queries when needed.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to stand, walk and lift moderate loads during busy periods.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• No prior experience required – full training will be provided.
