About the role

The Global Sales Account Executive will manage a defined portfolio of UK accounts in partnership with Virgin Atlantic, supporting Delta Air Lines’ joint‑venture strategy. Based at home with regular visits to Virgin Atlantic’s Crawley headquarters and Delta’s London‑area office, the role combines remote work with frequent travel across the UK, Europe and the USA.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive high‑yield revenue and market‑share growth for Delta routes within the assigned UK portfolio.
  • Maintain and develop strong business relationships, aligning objectives with joint‑venture partners.
  • Analyse performance data and commercial insights to identify sales opportunities and improve outcomes.
  • Deliver training and enablement for partner sales teams, ensuring confidence in selling Delta products.
  • Prepare, negotiate and manage contracts in line with JV agreements and channel strategies.
  • Use CRM tools to keep accurate customer data, track activities and support disciplined account management.
  • Represent the Delta brand at key customer and industry events and undertake specialist projects as needed.

Required profile

  • Permanent right to work in the United Kingdom without sponsorship.
  • Minimum three years of sales and commercial experience in a relevant industry.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Strong interpersonal, decision‑making and results‑orientation skills.
