GP Referral Exercise Instructor (Casual) – Brighton

About the role

Freedom Leisure is seeking a motivated GP Referral Exercise Instructor to join its Healthy Communities team in Brighton & Hove. This casual position supports individuals referred through the GP Referral Programme, helping them improve health, wellbeing and confidence through safe, personalised physical activity.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and supervise participants on the GP Referral Programme.
• Design safe, effective exercise programmes tailored to individual needs.
• Provide clear instruction on the correct and safe use of fitness equipment.
• Monitor progress, adapt programmes as required and evaluate outcomes.
• Support the development and promotion of health and wellbeing initiatives.
• Assist with wider fitness centre operations when needed.
