Graduate Building Surveyor - London

About the role

KR8 Advisory Ltd, part of K3 Advisory Group, is recruiting a Graduate Building Surveyor for its Building & Project Consultancy team within the Real Estate division. The role sits in the 24-month K3 Advisory Group Graduate Programme, based in London with travel as required, and covers traditional building consultancy, contract administration and project management, leading to the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) and MRICS status.

Key responsibilities

• Support senior surveyors and directors with inspections, measurements, desktop statutory research and report writing.
• Assist with schedules of conditions and schedules of dilapidations.
• Contribute to advisory projects for lenders, administrators and receivers on distressed development sites.
• Help prepare budget costs to complete developments and assist with property disposals and asset management in insolvency cases.
• Assist with management of construction work.
• Take part in APC training, log experience and develop the skills needed for MRICS accreditation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Building Surveying from an RICS-accredited course.
• Interest in dilapidations, surveys, contract administration/project management, construction due diligence and development monitoring.
• Excellent analytical, numerical and report-writing skills, strong communication and client relationship skills.
• Commitment to completing the APC and achieving MRICS status.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
