Graduate CAD Designer

About the role

We are seeking a recent graduate with a degree in Design, Interior Design, Architecture or a related field to join our specialist interiors team as a Junior CAD Designer. Based in High Wycombe, you will work alongside senior designers on high‑profile commercial fit‑out and interior construction projects, gaining hands‑on experience from concept through to fabrication and installation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare schematic, general arrangement and working drawings using CAD software.
• Create drawing schedules and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Produce RFIs, track technical queries and monitor responses.
• Conduct site visits, surveys and attend design coordination meetings.
• Assist in developing project design briefs and attend handover meetings.
• Generate fabrication information, including schedules, cutting lists and component drawings.
• Review, revise and re‑issue drawings based on feedback.
• Check fabrication and technical drawings for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide technical and design support to internal teams while considering health and safety requirements.

Required profile

• Degree in Design, Interior Design, Architecture or a related discipline.
• Strong technical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Experience using Revit.
