Graduate Full Stack Software Engineer

About the role

Lovey is looking for a motivated Graduate Full Stack Engineer to join its fast‑growing fintech team in Birmingham. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or early‑career developer to gain hands‑on experience across both backend and frontend technologies while contributing to the modernisation of a finance platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Contribute to frontend features with Next.js, React and TypeScript.
• Work on tickets and sprint‑based tasks, collaborating with product and data teams.
• Participate in code reviews, write clean and well‑tested code, and help debug technical issues.
• Support re‑platforming initiatives and future mobile/platform projects as the team evolves.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong problem‑solving ability and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Interest in fintech and building scalable software.
