Graduate Future Projects Engineer

About the role

Start date is September 2027 for a two‑year Airbus Global Graduate development journey. You will be part of a personalised programme that builds technical, business and leadership skills while working on real future projects in aerospace.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to early design stages, covering geometrical definition, high‑ and low‑speed aerodynamics, performance, weight estimation, operability and cost to deliver integrated solutions for wing or whole‑aircraft problems.
• Collaborate with the Future Projects team, other engineering groups, marketing and strategy, requiring strong communication.
• Undertake placements across business areas on the Filton site to broaden knowledge and network.
• Potentially complete a placement at another Airbus site or outside the company.
• Participate in technical and soft‑skill training, STEM projects and personal development opportunities.
• Complete at least one rotational placement to support growth into the final role.

Required profile

• Degree (or equivalent) in Aerospace, Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Recent graduate or first‑professional experience in aerospace or a related engineering field.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Desire to work collaboratively and drive future innovation.
• Self‑awareness and motivation to steer personal development.
