Graduate Software Engineer – Liverpool

About the role

Join a large UK‑based organisation as a Graduate Software Engineer, supporting customer‑focused digital products and platforms. You will work within a collaborative technology team, maintaining existing systems while exploring ways to improve, automate and evolve platforms for the future.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day support for existing enterprise software platforms.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and deliver enhancements.
• Participate in troubleshooting and problem‑solving activities.
• Contribute ideas for future innovation and technology adoption.

Required profile

• Achieved a 2:1 undergraduate degree in any subject.
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship for the programme duration.
• Willingness to work on‑site five days a week in Liverpool.
• Curious, motivated and eager to learn about emerging technologies.

Required skills

• Java
• RPG
• Experience with native applications or other programming languages.
