Graduate Structures Research & Technology Engineer

About the role

Join Airbus as a Graduate Structures Research and Technology Engineer, starting September 2027 in the Bristol area. You will be part of a two‑year development programme that combines technical training, soft‑skill workshops and rotational placements to accelerate your engineering career.

Key responsibilities

• Design and integrate complex wing structures for next‑generation aircraft.
• Perform technical problem‑solving on structural components and key interfaces.
• Apply 3D CAD tools, reference structural design principles and the full design process from Critical Design Review (CDR) to Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
• Create space allocation models, design principles and detailed part drawings.
• Complete at least one rotational placement to broaden exposure across the structures team.

Required profile

• Degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering (or equivalent).
• Recent graduate or first‑professional experience in structures design.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Motivation to work collaboratively and drive innovation.
