Graduate Teaching Assistant

About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistants to join schools in West London from September 2026. This full‑time, term‑time position offers the chance to gain hands‑on classroom experience while supporting pupils in core subjects and special educational needs.
Key responsibilities
- Provide academic and pastoral support to pupils, including those with SEN.
- Assist with teaching maths, English and other core subjects.
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
- Encourage active participation and help students reach academic goals.
- Support the class teacher with lesson delivery, classroom management and pupil development.
Required profile
- A degree in any subject area.
- Genuine interest in education and supporting young learners.
- Experience working with children or young people (e.g., tutoring, youth work, mentoring).
- Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
- Proactive, reliable team player able to work both collaboratively and independently.
