Groundworker – Busy Housing Site (Biggleswade)

About the role
We are seeking an experienced groundworker to join a busy housing development in Biggleswade. The role involves completing finishing works on a fast‑moving site, starting from 7 July.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out finishing groundworks on a residential construction site.
- Operate and maintain basic groundworker tools and equipment.
- Work 9‑hour days (7:30 – 16:30) to meet project deadlines.
- Adhere to health and safety standards, including the use of PPE.
Required profile
- Valid CSCS or CPCS card.
- Experience in housing or finishing works.
- Ability to work the full 45 hours per week and collaborate with a team.
- Good communication skills.
Required skills
- CSCS certification.
- CPCS certification.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Proficiency with basic groundworker tools.
What we offer
- Hourly rate of £23, paid via CIS payroll.
- Fixed‑term contract of approximately 5‑6 weeks, with the possibility of extension.
- Placement on a dynamic construction site with a supportive team.
