Groundworkers needed for 10‑week commercial project in Wigan

About the role
We are seeking six experienced groundworkers to join a squad on a commercial development in the Wigan area. The role runs for approximately ten weeks, offering steady, full‑time work on site.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out deep drainage, pipe laying and ducting works.
- Lay slabs, install kerbing and edging, and perform concrete works.
- Assist machine operators with general ground preparation and excavation.
- Maintain strict health and safety standards throughout the site.
Required profile
- Proven experience in commercial or civil groundworks.
- Blue CPCS card preferred (dumper/roller tickets) or a valid CSCS card.
- Reliability, punctuality and ability to work well within a team.
- Full orange or yellow 5‑point PPE required.

What we offer
- Rate of £19.48 per hour (CIS applicable).
- Approximately 50 hours per week.
