Groundworkers needed for commercial development in Wigan

About the role
We are recruiting six experienced groundworkers for a commercial development project in Wigan. The contract runs from mid‑July to late September 2026, offering roughly 10 weeks of guaranteed work.
Key responsibilities
- Perform deep drainage, pipe laying and ducting works.
- Carry out slab laying, kerbing, edging and concrete tasks.
- Assist machine operators with general ground preparation and excavation.
- Maintain strict health and safety standards on site.
Required profile
- Blue CPCS card (dumper/roller tickets) preferred; a valid CSCS card is acceptable.
- Proven experience in commercial or civil groundworks, with references available.
- Full orange or yellow 5‑point PPE required.
- Punctual, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a squad.
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK.

What we offer
- Rate of £19.48 per hour.
- Approximately 50 hours per week.
