Group Controller

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller to lead the financial control, reporting and governance function of a high‑growth, private‑equity backed technology business. Working closely with the CFO and senior leadership, you will ensure the finance function is robust, accurate and ready for the next phase of growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead group financial control, reporting and governance across the organisation.
• Support the CFO in delivering the strategic, commercial and value‑creation agenda.
• Ensure the financial foundation is robust, accurate and scalable.
• Modernise and optimise the finance function for future growth.
• Provide commercial insight and influence senior stakeholders and investors.

Required profile

• ACA qualified (or equivalent).
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Head of Financial Reporting in a private‑equity backed or high‑growth environment.
• Experience in technology, SaaS, software or broader digital businesses is preferred.
• Strong technical accounting and group consolidation expertise.
• Ability to add commercial insight and influence senior stakeholders.
