Group Facilities Manager

About the role

Rapidrop, a leading UK manufacturer of fire sprinkler and suppression system components, is seeking a Group Facilities Manager to lead and develop facilities operations across its global sites. The role will support the company’s continued growth by ensuring that all workplaces, maintenance programmes and operational environments meet the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee facilities operations across Rapidrop’s global locations, including Peterborough, Leeds, UAE sites and third‑party facilities.
• Manage maintenance programmes, workplace services and site standards for all locations.
• Lead relationships with suppliers, contractors and service providers to ensure effective service delivery.
• Support health and safety, security, compliance and environmental initiatives.
• Direct company fleet operations, covering cars and vans.
• Coordinate workplace services such as waste management, hygiene, housekeeping and site infrastructure.
• Drive facilities‑related projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with operational, warehouse and IT teams to meet business requirements.
• Travel occasionally across the UK and internationally to support facilities projects.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in facilities management, operations or multi‑site environments.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance, compliance and workplace services management.
• Proven ability to manage contractors, suppliers and external service providers.
• Excellent organisational, project management and stakeholder communication skills.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused attitude with strong attention to detail.
• Experience supporting health and safety compliance within operational settings.
• Background in manufacturing, logistics, industrial or distribution environments is advantageous.
• IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications are desirable.
