Group Financial Accountant

About the role

This role sits within Group Finance, delivering timely, high-quality financial reporting for a fast-growing, acquisition-driven organisation. You will be heavily involved in monthly group consolidations, multi-currency reporting and intercompany reconciliations, supporting month-end close and investor reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly group consolidation packs.
• Produce multi-currency financial reports and perform intercompany reconciliations.
• Support month-end close processes and investor reporting.
• Deliver statutory reporting under IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Coordinate audit activities and enhance financial controls and reporting frameworks.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders, including the Group Reporting Manager and Group Financial Controller.
• Assist with acquisition accounting and integration within an international group.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with a practice-trained background.
• Recent audit experience and a desire to move into industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Experience of group reporting or consolidated accounts.
• High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
