Group Financial Accountant

About the role
A global business with a high‑performing finance team based in Lancashire is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their multi‑entity group. Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will work on a fixed‑term 18‑month contract with the potential for longer‑term placement, gaining exposure to senior decision‑makers.
Key responsibilities
- Financial reporting and consolidations for a multi‑entity group
- Intercompany and balance‑sheet management
- Lead month‑end close, including journals, reconciliations and variance analysis
Required profile
- ACA or ACCA qualified, preferably practice‑trained
- Strong experience in financial reporting and IFRS
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with senior internal and external stakeholders
