Group HR Partner

About the role

JMG Group, a fast‑growing insurance broker based in Leeds, is looking for a Group HR Partner to join its People Operations team. This role will provide high‑quality HR support across the UK‑wide group of businesses while driving people initiatives that align with the company’s culture and growth ambitions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a proactive HR partner for designated business areas, supporting leaders throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Deliver HR solutions that facilitate the integration of newly acquired businesses and support the Group’s expansion strategy.
• Provide guidance and coaching to managers on employee‑relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance and absence issues.
• Assist in reviewing, developing and implementing HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency, compliance and best practice.
• Identify skills gaps and promote access to training and career development opportunities.
• Champion diversity, equity and inclusion, embedding these principles into everyday people practices.
• Collaborate with the wider People team to align HR initiatives with business objectives.

Required profile

• Proactive HR professional with experience supporting leaders across the employee lifecycle.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Experience in talent development and managing employee‑relations issues.
• Strong commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
