GRTN Project Lead – 2 Year Fixed-Term Secondment

About the role

We are seeking an experienced GRTN Project Lead to manage a two-year fixed-term project aimed at improving engagement, access and health outcomes for Gypsy, Roma, Traveller and Nomadic communities across Wiltshire. The role will be based in Trowbridge and will work closely with families, community partners and the Public Health Network Services (PHNS) to deliver culturally-sensitive improvements to the Healthy Child Programme.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver a defined two-year public health project for GRTN communities.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with GRTN families and community organisations.
• Develop co-produced resources and culturally appropriate service delivery models.
• Collaborate with PHNS and local health commissioners to improve equitable access to the Healthy Child Programme.
• Monitor project progress, evaluate outcomes and report against NHS Core20PLUS5 objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading public health or community-focused projects.
• Strong understanding of health inequalities and inclusion frameworks.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with diverse communities.
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver results within a fixed-term contract.
