Handyperson – Construction Maintenance (Oxfordshire & Wiltshire)

About the role

We are looking for a versatile Handyperson to support our construction teams across Oxfordshire and Wiltshire. The successful candidate will carry out a range of maintenance and repair tasks on site, ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and minor repairs on construction sites.
• Assist with basic carpentry, painting and finishing work.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Carry out minor plumbing and electrical tasks where qualified.
• Maintain a clean, organised work area and adhere to safety regulations.
• Support site teams with additional duties as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Handyperson or in a similar construction role.
• Good knowledge of basic construction and maintenance tasks.
• Own tools and personal protective equipment (essential).
• Valid CSCS card preferred.
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Reliable, able to work independently or as part of a team.
