Hardware Support Engineer – Robotics Delivery & Packaging

About the role

Amazon Robotics is looking for a Hardware Support Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of its packaging and robotics systems in fulfillment centers. You will work on‑site with customers, troubleshoot hardware issues, and help deploy new robotic solutions that improve operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site support for new product implementations, upgrades, routine hardware audits, and troubleshooting of advanced robotics systems.
• Partner with product development, manufacturing, and site‑level reliability, maintenance, and engineering (RME) teams to maximize system performance.
• Resolve RME technical inquiries and escalations, identifying and fixing mechanical and system issues.
• Design and implement electro‑mechanical tools, fixtures, monitoring, and diagnostic solutions.
• Develop preventative maintenance procedures, training content, and spare‑parts management processes.
• Lead on‑site training sessions for RME teams and produce safety, reliability, and performance reports.
• Conduct safety, ergonomic, and risk assessments on products and tools.
• Travel up to 50% of the time to support multiple fulfillment sites.
