Head of Communications

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Communications to shape and lead the communications strategy for a leading professional services firm. The role will balance internal and external communications, aligning them with the organisation’s strategic objectives and enhancing brand awareness worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an internal communications strategy to engage employees with the company’s vision, goals and achievements.
• Partner with senior leadership and functional teams to design communications programmes that support business priorities.
• Manage internal platforms such as intranet, webinars and town‑hall events.
• Lead communications for CSR, DE&I, wellbeing and alumni initiatives.
• Create and implement a global external communications strategy that underpins business and marketing goals.
• Oversee media relations, building relationships with industry, professional and trade media.
• Direct social‑media strategy, producing high‑quality content across multiple channels.
• Manage external agencies to maximise brand reach and impact.
• Supervise the delivery of press releases, award submissions, industry publications and thought‑leadership content.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in communications, preferably within international professional services or partnership environments.
• Proven record of delivering high‑impact communications strategies that drive brand awareness and internal engagement.
• Experience working across multiple markets and aligning communications with business objectives.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with strong drafting and presentation abilities.
• Ability to build credibility and strong relationships with senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of PR, social, digital and content marketing channels.
• Leadership experience with a track record of fostering collaborative, high‑performing teams.
