Head of Corporate / Company Commercial (Senior Legal Leader)

About the role

We are partnering with a highly successful and growing law firm to appoint a Head of Corporate / Company Commercial. This senior legal leader will own the corporate department, shape its strategy and drive growth while working closely with the Managing Director.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of solicitors.
• Manage high‑value corporate transactions, including M&A, shareholder agreements, joint ventures and commercial contracts.
• Develop new business and maintain strong client relationships.
• Provide strategic leadership and drive department growth.
• Collaborate with the Managing Director as part of the senior leadership team.

Required profile

• Senior corporate solicitor with 8+ years post‑qualification experience (8+ PQE).
• Strong technical expertise in corporate law.
• Commercial acumen and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
• Proven leadership and team‑development skills.
