Head of Data Engineering

About the role

We are partnering with a high‑growth Series C fintech to find a Head of Data Engineering. You will lead and scale the data platform as the business expands, working closely with engineering, product and data leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of data engineers and define the technical roadmap.
• Design and build a modern, scalable data platform supporting analytics and AI initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering, product and data leaders to align data solutions with business goals.
• Drive best practices for data pipelines, governance and performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading and growing data engineering teams.
• Hands‑on expertise with modern cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Strong background in Python, SQL and orchestration tools such as Airflow.
• Track record of building scalable data pipelines in a fast‑paced fintech or technology environment.
• Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence technical strategy.
